ACCOMPANYING TEXT:
All who are hungry
On Passover, we gather family, friends and guests into our homes to
recount the story of our ancestors being delivered by God from slavery to freedom.
At the Sedar, we begin the Passover story by stating,
"All who are hungry-let them come and eat."
The message of the Haggadah is one of liberation of body, mind and spirit.
Reliving the journey of our ancestors, affords us the opportunity to take our own spiritual journey towards freedom from the areas in our lives where we are enslaved.
As we ponder the miracles of God's powers and the unwavering faith of our people,
We are energized with renewed strength of spirit.
The visual expression of Kol Dichfin, represents this journey.
The souls gather at the bottom of the painting. The upward movement toward God, indicates the path to wholeness (symbolized by the circles) and holiness.
