Artist's Description

This painting was created in honor of Meital, on the occasion of her becoming a Bat Mitzvah on the sixteenth of Sivan, 5773.
Meitals name has been scripted in Torah font to highlight her being called
to the Torah. A silhouette of our sacred scroll is visible on the left.
The topic of her dvar, Pesach Sheni, is represented by the spring green
echoing the darker green that washes the background with color.
An illusion of the lamb, Korban Pesach, is hidden in the lighter band of color.
In this weeks parsha, Behaalotcha, we are told that when dew fell on the
camp at night, manna descended upon it. This miracle is represented in jewels.

The jewels of the dew drops accentuate the meaning of Meital as well.
